About Us
Who am I?
Hi, I’m Cecil Robertson.
I help business brokers, small business owners, and especially baby boomer business owners deepen trust with the people they serve—using a “relationship-rich” system designed to naturally increase referrals, repeat business, and genuine testimonials.
My background?
Fourteen years in the hotel industry with names you likely recognize: Hilton, Marriott, Radisson, and even the Five-Star Four Seasons. Across thousands of guest experiences, one truth became clear—when you lead with care, connection, and consistency, you don’t just get loyalty… you become the obvious choice.
That same principle applies to business relationships.
Just like top hotels build ongoing trust with guests, business brokers and small business owners who intentionally foster client relationships gain something powerful: more deals and sales, smoother transitions, and clients who recommend them as the “obvious choice” when asked.
That’s what Better Negosyo was built to support. (“Negosyo,” pronounced Neh-go-sho, is the Tagalog word for “Business”—inspired by my Filipina wife, Melissa.)
So why the focus on helping business brokers and baby boomer business owners? Because I’ve endured failures and know the do-it-yourself (D.I.Y.) route is a tough alley to trek through. I chased big dreams, hit the usual roadblocks, ignored the red flags—and paid for it dearly. But those setbacks led me to a turning point. I realized how essential experience is, and how often that wisdom gets overlooked in the shiny new idea trends.
The Silver Tsunami puts experienced brokers and owners in a unique and valuable position. But to make the most of it, trust and relationships must be at the center.
So here’s what I’ve created:
A way for you to plug in a quiet, low-maintenance, “relationship-rich” pipeline alongside what you’re already doing. One that works behind the scenes to attract higher-quality buyers and sellers—without having to chase or pitch.
It’s not about gimmicks. It’s about earning trust in a way that sets you apart—quietly, steadily, and effectively.
